Iris-T is a unified 3D visualization system, intended for displaying of 3D virtual scenes, complex articulated 3D models and wide range of special effects. Capabilities of the system allow imaging different natural phenomena and replicating real landscapes.

It is suitable for development of virtual simulators and interactive systems wherein real time 3D visualization is needed. Iris-T could be controlled both by internal commands or control signals from external simulation systems and corresponds to severe requirements of simulation accuracy and image photorealism.

The “Iris-T” is used in interactive systems and training simulators where high-quality real-time visualization is required. “Iris-T” designed in two major versions as a stand-alone fully featured application and as a software development kit (SDK).

Modular structure of the “Iris-T” components

Our system is highly customizable. There is a wide range of ready-to-use components. Structure of modules and resources of the 3D visualization system is emphasized by customer on the stage of the set of supply development from general package of components. Procedure for the set of supply development is following:

defining system's core modules set
selecting auxiliary modules
defining resource libraries structure
new modules development in accordance with customer requirements (optional)
new content creation (optional)
integration with external software (optional)

Electronic small arms training simulator "TEST" is a tool for fire training and tactical skills exercising during small arms and grenade launchers engagement.

Execution of the training is performed in virtual environment with capability to control firing conditions and training procedure as well as post-training analysis of trainees actions. Trainees put to use simulators of firearms which correspond to real weapons type under several numbers of performances. This simulators interact with software through radio channel without additional power supply cable.

"TEST" is a virtual simulator developed under program interface for remote control of unified 3D visualization system “Iris-T” and could be employed only in aggregate with this system.

OS Support

The "Kolodets -3D" represents 3D visualization system with immersive panoramic projection. Output data of the system is 3D environment generated by the "Iris-T" or other visualization systems.

Screen system

For the benefit of screen system development standard configurations of screens are available such as cylinder, sphere, semi sphere, conic frustum as well as other screens types made under individual order.

Individual design features are specified on Customer requirements. Changing performances of screen systems are:
height of screen sidewall
type of shading system
screen surface material
total weight

Viewing angle of screen system varies up to 360o horizontally and up to 180o vertically for cylinder screen as well as up to 180o horizontally and up to 110o vertically for spherical screen. Individual viewing parameters are determined during bespoke Customer display needs. Viewing angle modification pitch is not limited.

For exhibition and presentation stands it is possible to display Customer images on external surface of screen system.

Projection system

Displayed image for immersive panoramic projection preliminary separated on some visualization channels each of which distributed to certain projector taking into account seamless connection of viewing channels provided by developed software.

Blending of displayed image in coupling areas is compensated in order to achieve equal brightness as well as contrast parameters in all view width. Operating angles of projection in 60o permit to diversify overall width of resulting image up to 360o.
